About  The Book

After completing his studies in school, the author took admission in Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur (Howrah) in the year 1962. It was one of the premier institutes of engineering at that time. It was a residential College and he had to stay in hostels for five years from 1962 to 1967. Boys as well as girls came from all over West Bengal and other states to study in this college. During his stay in the campus, he developed strong bonding of friendship with many classmates. They used to study, gossip, go to movies and play games together. These five years were filled with fun, joy and lot of excitement.
In this book entitled “বিই কলেজে পাঁচ টা বছর” the author recollects those memories of five years through his own written poems and stories.
