As a computer software consultant Nand Singh was leading an ordinary life in San Jose California. Nand ran in to some unexpected and shocking information about his grandfather, after he migrated from India to Canada then to the US some time in 1906. Nand decided to go on a journey to find out and clear his doubts about his heritage for his peace of mind. He decided to travel to those places his grandfather started his life in the Americas. He found historical evidence to the struggle his grandfather faced in the United States. Nand started his enquiry from Vancouver Canada. This novel is about what he found out from people he met in his journey especially from one person then how the story twisted in to a different direction. Un Beaten Mind is the story of Nand, starting from his grandfather to his family. Most people migrated from other countries to the Americas may have stories like this.
About The Author :

I am in construction business. I live in Richmond, Texas a suburb of Houston. Reading and writing is my hobby. In the past, I have written several short plays for local cultural groups to perform. This is my first attempt in writing a novel. Originally I wanted to write a book about early immigrants from India to the United States and research in to that subject gave me the inspiration to write this novel.
