The biography of Brahmlin Acharya Divyanand Puriji Maharaj, a great virtuous person, is written by Retired Principal Shri Subhash Kause. Divyanand Puri Maharaj lived from 1928 to 1992. The writer narrates the spiritual, social, and national work of this divine person. He was a very practical saint who emphasized chanting Lord Vitthal’s name. Lord Vitthal appeared before him many times, but he didn’t expect anything from the Lord for himself. He advised his followers to increase their spiritual knowledge for a better life. He also taught people to do self-business rather than seek private or government jobs – “Be owners, not servants.” He stressed the importance of good values and habits. Shri Subhash Mohan Kause has retired from Ahmednagar Education Society’s Junior College of Education, Satbhai Mala, Ahilyanagar in the year 2016. He has done the sacred work of imparting knowledge in the field of education for 39 years. He has a special interest in social work. Reading and writing are his main hobbies.
