About  The Book

This book is meant for postgraduate and research scholar students who are specializing in linguistics. It will also be useful for those who want to know more about the structure of words and the function of word elements so that they can thereby acquire a greater understanding of how the language operates.

About  The Author

Dr Widinibou Ch did his master’s degree in both English and Linguistics. He was awarded a PhD degree from Assam University in 2013 and cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2011. He has been teaching and researching for more than eleven years. He worked in various universities such as Assam University, Silchar, Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, and Tezpur University, Napam Assam. He has considerable fieldwork experience on a number of indigenous languages and culture of North East India. He published a book as well as several research papers more than twenty in National and International journals. He also presented several papers at Conferences, Seminars, and workshops in National and International. His prime research interests include Acoustic-Phonetics, Phonology, Language Documentation and Tibeto-Burman Languages of Northeast India.

He has been associated with various projects such as Centre of Endangered Languages (CFEL), North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) and Directorate of University and Higher Education (DUHE) Government of Manipur.
