About The Author :

Dr. Shoaib Mohammed is an Assistant Professor at Atlas Skilltech University in Mumbai. He has over 8 years of teaching experience at the degree college level and 3 years at the junior college level.

Dr. Mohammed holds several credentials, including a Ph.D. in Commerce from Aligarh University, M.Com (Accounts and Finance) from Aligarh University, B.Com (Hons.) from Aligarh University, BA (Economics) from Delhi University, MBA (Finance) from V.M. University, and an MS-Finance (CFA) from ICFAI University (pursuing 2nd level). He also qualified for the UGC NET in Commerce in 2015. In addition to his teaching role, Dr. Mohammed has served as the Programme Officer of the NSS Unit at VVUC for 5 years and is an approved Ph.D. guide/supervisor at Atlas Skilltech University and Shri Jagdish Prasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University. He has coordinated various programs, including BMS and B.Com (Banking and Insurance), and actively participated in the NAAC accreditation process. He has also authored a book titled “Profit Pathways: Harnessing entrepreneurial spirit with financial acumen” (June, 2024). Dr. Mohammed has published more than 10 research papers and participated in numerous conferences and seminars. His research interests include job satisfaction, quality circles, CSR, micro insurance, FDI, job absenteeism, gross national happiness in Bhutan, performance appraisal practices in the aviation sector, and the impact of talent management on organizational performance in the FMCG sector. His areas of teaching interest include financial, cost, and management accounting, commodity and derivative markets, international finance, banking and finance, research methodology, direct taxation, accounts and statistics, and human resource management. Dr. Jaimine Anita Vaishnav is an accomplished Assistant Professor at Atlas SkillTech University in Mumbai, with a diverse academic background and extensive professional experience. With a Ph.D. in Social Science, specializing in Global Politics and Political Science, Dr. Vaishnav holds additional academic qualifications including an M.A. in International Politics, postgraduate diplomas in Human Rights and Foreign Trade, and a B.M.M. in Journalism.
Throughout his career, Dr. Vaishnav has held various teaching positions, imparting knowledge in subjects such as International Politics, Human Rights, Journalism, and Entrepreneurship. He joined Atlas SkillTech University in November 2023, following stints at prestigious institutions like Garware Institute (Mumbai University campus), VIBGYOR High, Siddharth College of Economics, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, etc.
Dr. Vaishnav’s scholarly contributions extend beyond the classroom, with a notable research portfolio. He has authored three books, including “Informal Trade: China at India’s North-East Border” and “Beyond the Headlines: Navigating Journalism & Mass Communication” and “Profit Pathways: Harnessing entrepreneurial spirit with financial acumen”. Additionally, Dr. Vaishnav has published over 30 research papers in national and international conferences and journals, focusing on topics ranging from India-China trade relations to human rights and libertarian thought. His academic prowess has been recognized through numerous awards and accolades, including the ‘Emerging Talent Award’ by McStem Global Awards, and the Research Excellence Award by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. He has also received a ‘Letter of Recognition’ from Babson College (USA), World’s no. 1 university for Entrepreneurship Education, for his exceptional presentation skills.
Dr. Vaishnav’s contributions extend beyond academia, with active involvement in media and social activism. He has contributed articles to prominent publications such as Youth Ki Awaaz, The Quint, and The Leaflet, and has been interviewed by the media on various issues.
